Men’s different tactics on how to get a girl may be categorized using two aspects as bases These are the ‘effort’ and the ‘emotion’ aspects

The amount of involvement, which may either be low (largely through verbal means) or high (based on actions), refers to the ‘effort’ aspect The emotional inclination of the effort or activity, which may either be inclined towards the self or towards the girl involved, refers to emotion aspect Hence, when talking about how to get a girl, men may be categorized or grouped based on the levels of these two aspects

The first type may be labelled ‘showman’ approach This approach is characterized by high level of activity or being full of efforts, with inclination to focus on the great qualities of the guy expending these efforts For instance, a basketball player who is a showman type of guy will try to win a girl’s heart by engaging in activities which may display his skill and physical prowess, like jogging or actually playing ball A guy employing this approach does not rely on good use of words nor does not usually highlight the talents or interests of the girl

The second type of approach, which may be called ‘supporter’, still scores high in effort but the emotion aspect is geared towards the girl involved This means that the focus of the activities is the talents, skills, interests and hobbies of the girl; the girl is somehow put in limelight or in a pedestal What belongs to the individual world of the guy does not matter much; what is important is doing what the girl does or likes, much the same as being an avid fan A guy under this category will still not be very communicative like the first type

A combination of being largely communicative and highlighting the self, characterizes the guy falling under the third approach, which may be termed ‘orator’ This guy may not show physical prowess or may not be always available to engage in activities with the girl he likes, but he is always using words to express how he loves the girl The approach means that the inclination is towards the self, so the orator type of guy explains why he may be the right one for the girl, or he claims how far he is willing to go to win her heart This category is also like being an applicant who defends how he must be accepted into the company he is applying into

The last type of approach regarding how to get a girl, which may be named ‘narrator’, is described as being low in activities but communicative, as well as having the emotional inclination towards the girl A guy using this approach tends to utilize different ways of communication to be able to express how he values the girl A narrator type of guy is willing and finds the opportunity to explain, not only to the girl herself but to other people, how important she is to him The users of this approach may be likened to someone who writes his autobiography according to the way the girl touches his life

The categorization presented here does not mean that a guy must stick to the approach he wants What is proposed here is, the guy must be able to learn which approach is suited in accordance with the personality of the girl Lastly, if time and chance permit it, the guy must be ready to employ any of the approaches, because of the sole and ultimate purpose of winning the girl’s affection
