This time of the year can really be stressful for some, I personally like this time of year as long as you have planned properly in advance You don’t really need to plan that much it’s more about figuring out who’s house you are going to or if you are hosting Christmas well then there is a little more planning required I personally love hosting Christmas and would always rather have people in my house and cook rather than going out Especially if it involves a long drive

For many of us that are single for some reason people find this time of the year tougher than others I can to a point understand why but it really doesn’t have to be Most of us will have a Christmas party to go to and of course visit the family The Christmas party first off is usually a great place to meet people I will save you the suspense you won’t be the only person there that is single and most Christmas parties take place in a public place, restaurant, bar etc so there will be other singles there for sure This also might finally give you a chance to talk one on one with some of the other single people that you work with Having a glass of wine or two always helps relax the jitters we may have

There are always those that take this time of the year to visit the many internet dating sites that are out there Finding a date to bring to your holiday party might just be a couple of clicks away Don’t rush things though just because the party is a couple of days away doesn’t mean that you want to rush into inviting a stranger to a work party If you do take the time using a dating service can be a great place to find that special someone

My best suggestion is to just relax about being single it’s not a bad thing, there are millions of singles out there and most of them are quite happy to be single While marriage can be an amazing experience, being single for a while is an important life experience The great news is if you are single during the holidays you usually get invited rather than being the invitee Again I do like hosting a party myself, that being said only having to worry about whether or not you are going to bring a red or white bottle of wine to the party is pretty easy living

I find that being single during this time of the year most people are aware of it and go out of their way to introduce you to others, which can be great and annoying at the same time They also go out of their way to invite you to their home or function which is also great

Being single isn’t a bad thing in can be a great thing during the holidays or even days like Valentines Chin up, think positive and most of all enjoy this time of the year!
